      PENGARUH MATA KULIAH JISSHU III TERHADAP MINAT MENJADI GURU BAHASA JEPANG

      Abstract
      This research aimed at finding out the interest of the students of Japanese Language Education Study Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in academic year of 2017/2018 before and after attending Jisshu III and discovering the influence of Jisshu III subject towards the interest to become Japanese language teachers. This research was ex post facto in nature using descriptive quantitative method that had regressive characteristic. The variable of the research was Jisshu III subject (X) and the interest to become Japanese language teachers (Y). The population of the research was all of the students of Japanese Language Education Study Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta consisted of the 48 students of 2017/2018 academic year. The sample consisted of the 30 students of 2017/2018 academic year through purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through questionnaire and interview. The tests of validity and reliability of the questionnaire used the formulas of Product Moment and Alpha Cronbach. The data analysis used Pearson correlation and Simple Regression with SPSS 23 application. The result of the research showed that Jisshu III subject had influence towards the interest to become Japanese language teachers. It could be seen from the result of simple regression analysis calculation with rcount bigger than rtable i.e. 3.544 > 2.048. Jisshu III subject had influence towards the interest to become Japanese language teachers as much as 31% with regression equation of Y = 4.523 + 1.116 X.
