      Abstract
      Measuring heart rate and body temperature is an activity to determine the patient's vital condition, because the farther the patient's temperature than the normal temperature limit will affect the fast the patient’s heart rate in pumping blood throughout the body. In this case, the measuring instrument of heart rate and body temperature is equipped with data storage at one measurement, and there is a measurement indicator. The measurement results presence hypothermia, normal, fever, hyperthermia for body temperature, and bradycardia, normal, tachycardia for heart rate. As for this measurement is done in adult patients. In this study the authors use finger sensor built using infrared LED as transmitters and photodiode as receiver, MLX90614 as a temperature sensor, LCD to display results and sd card for data storage. This module using microcontroller ATMega328 as control system. Measurements were made to 10 people with 3 conditions of 5 times and the average value of error percentage for heart rate measurement was 0.5%, and the average value of body temperature error percentage was 0.16%.
