News about malnutrition and measles in Asmat Papua emerged when the Chairperson of the University of Indonesia Student Executive Body (BEM UI) Zaadit Taqwa yellowed President Joko Widodo. The action was carried out by Zaadit Taqwa when Jokowi attended the 68th Anniversary of the University of Indonesia. After this incident, many media outlets discussed how the incidence of malnutrition and measles actually occurred in Asmat. Many journalists from various media wrote news about the Asmat district from the types of news reports Straight News, Hard News, and Soft News. However, not a few of the mass media wrote news about the events in Asmat with the style of writing narrative journalism or storytelling with the intention of making news reports more interesting. The study entitled "Narrative Analysis of Main Report Tempo Magazine Edition 12-18 February 2018" Doomsday at Asmat "(Analysis of Narrative Structure and Character in Narration)" has the purpose of describing stories, plots and narrative structures and characters in the 12th edition of Tempo main report. -18 February 2018 "Judgment at Asmat. In order to achieve this goal, this study uses the method of narrative analysis. The following research is a qualitative type with a descriptive nature. In the analysis unit presents the news from articles of the Tempo Magazine main report. The results showed that reporting on the magazine's main report articles narrated about poor health services and the absence of a good program from the government so that the epidemic of malnutrition and measles could become an epidemic that came at any time.
