      Abstract
The aim of the study was to examine the effect of EC market waste nutrition value and type of media on growth and yield of red lettuce hydroponic system axes and obtain an appropriate formulation of market waste nutrients on growth and yield of red lettuce hydroponic axis systems. This study conducted at Green House of Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in July-August 2018. This study conducted using an experimental method with three factorial replications, which arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the first factor being nutrition consisting of 4 types: N1 (ABmix nutrition), N2 (nutrient market waste concentration EC 0.8 mS / cm), N3 (nutrient market waste concentrated EC 1 mS / cm), N4 (market waste imaging concentration EC 2 mS / cm. The second factor is planting media which consists of 3 types of media, namely: M1 (sand media), M2 (husk charcoal media), M3 (combination of medium husk rang funds (1: 1)) . The results showed that there were effects / interactions of market waste nutrients and media on the growth of red lettuce hydroponic axis systems. Provision of market waste organic nutrients with EC concentrations of 0.8 mS / cm is the best formulation.
