      Abstract
Malaysia is a country that proclaimed their independence after the end of World War 2. At the beginning of their independence, Malaysia was originally a country that relied on natural resources as it’s main commodity . But due to the decline in the price of these commodities in the 1970s, Malaysia began to look at other commodities as a favorite commodity. Along with Malaysia's desire to become an advanced industrialized country in 2020 and the advancement of tourism as a nation commodity, Malaysia has decided to register as a MotoGP host country. This study aims to determine the extent of the role of organizing MotoGP as a media in Malaysian cultural diplomacy. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with the library research techniques, specifically by collecting, studying, and analyzing data taken from published and unpublished official documents, books, articles, newspapers, magazines , internet, and various other media.
