      Abstract
This research aims to determine the farming patterns, costs, revenue and optimization of healthy rice of sembada merah, sembada hitam and menthik susu. The technique of determination of the location chosen in this study was conducted purposively with the consideration that the Rukun Farmer’s Group was the only farmer group in the Pakem sub-district that had an organic agriculture certificate and sought three healthy varieties of rice. Sampling in this study was conducted by census method with 30 farmers from the Rukun Farmer’s Group. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The technique of data collection is done by observation and interviews. The results showed that healthy rice cultivation of sembada merah, sembada hitam and menthik susu used 7 patterns of crop rotation for two seasons (one year). The highest total cost is found in sembada Merah varieties in the first season and sembada hitam varieties in the second seasons. In addition, if viewed from the amount of revenue, the sembada hitam variety has the highest revenue. Optimization calculations through the LINDO application yield information that the Rukun Farmer’s Group can achieve maximum profits if in the first and second seasons all the land owned by farmers is only planted with sembada hitam varieties.
