      Abstract
      Background: Leucorrheais one of the problems that might occur to female teenagers who have got their period. Perception is an important thing to prevent white discharge in teenagers. Health education can be conducted to enhance the perception. Purpose: This study aims to discover the effect of health education on female teenager perception of preventing white discharge. Research method: This study is a quacy-experimental pre-test post-test with control group design. The sampling technique was non probability sampling using purposive sampling method. There were 136 populations in this study. However, there were only 25% or 34 respondents that were obtained as research samples. Research result: The result of statistical test analysis using Wilcoxon test on experiment group shows that p value = 0.607 and on control group, p value = 0.936. The result of Mann-Whitney test shows that p value = 0.188 (p =>0.05). Conclusion: There is no significant effect of giving health education on female teenagers’ perception of preventing white discharge in SMP Negeri 1 Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta and SMP Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta.
