      Abstract
      Background: PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) is a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) that provides air traffic services and airport businesses in Indonesia which focuses on services in the central part of Indonesia and eastern Indonesia. Based on 5 causes that are problems in the Application Operation Section (AOS) of PT. Angkasa Pura I Yogyakarta, such as a mistake when managing data, fears of losing paper asset data, obstacles when searching for data, concerns about data manipulation, and company data archive requirements. So the author intends to develop an asset data collection application. The Purpose of Research: Designing and creating desktop applications with the title Development of Java-based Angkasa Pura I Asset Data Collection Application. Methodology: The methodology used in this study is the data collection techniques by interviewing an informant. Moreover, the research flow uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, with prototyping software models. Result: The asset data application was successfully created with various features. Namely the login feature, data management features such as the add button, edit button and delete data button. Then there is the search feature, and the print feature. All features work properly based on testing. Conclusion: Desktop asset data applications can be used to manage data and be able to search data
