      Abstract
      Weather changes in Indonesia are increasingly difficult to predict. The production of dogfruit chips is very depent on the weather changes. But the drying process is still done manually which is can take a lot of time and energy and decrease the production of dogfruit chips. From this problem arises an effective solution to the drying process of dogfruit chips by making an Semi-Automatic Tools For Drying Dogfruit Chips Based On Microcontroller ATmega 328. The form of this tool is a table that has a roof that can open and close automatically when there are changes in rain or shine conditions. This tool can also collect chips with semi-automatically system by pressing the push button. By using a rain sensor and ATmega 328 microcontroller, this tool can control the motor driver to adjust the motor rotation that move the roof. From the test results, this tool can work during the drying time where the roof speed to close is 5 seconds which is can save chips with a percentage reach 100%.
