      Abstract
      This study examines the dynamics of the Jogjakarta Regional ICI (Inter Club Indonesia) support group. ICI (Inter Club Indonesia) Regional Jogjakarta Although it has a different background in character, social or culture, it is able to maintain cohesiveness. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The researcher appointed several informants as research information sources. To collect data, researchers used interview, observation, and documentation study methods. Descriptions are carried out descriptively to answer questions that have been previously identified. The results of this study indicate that communication has a large role in shaping group cohesiveness. This can be seen directly from the daily activities of all members of the Jogjakarta Regional ICI. Star communication patterns (all channels) used in groups make all members of the ICI Regional Jogjakarta feels to be the owner and cares about the continuity of the organization, because each member can voice anything without any restrictions on senior and junior or position. Group cohesiveness is built through activities that are routinely held, such as 'watching together', fun futsal, and 'coffee together' at coffee shops. This activity can lead to intimacy between members and foster a sense of togetherness
