      Abstract
      Electrical energy is one of the basic needs of society today to support their work. In Indonesia, the use of electrical energy in general still uses fossil energy. The use of electrical energy continues to increase in people's lives, both from the household, industrial, commercial, and public services. Making the reduced availability of fossil energy sources that can lead to an energy crisis, so that the need for the use of new renewable energy sources (EBT) in order to reduce dependence on fossil energy. This study aims to determine the potential of new renewable energy (EBT) derived from solar power. This study uses pure research methods. The data in this study are determined by purposive method. The data used in this study are secondary data from locations located at Congot Beach. The results of the calculation and analysis of a centralized solar photovoltaic power plant design in this study were made for electricity needs for 486 houses and 14 public facilities. From the calculation results with a total electricity demand of 1.945.232,64 Wh/day can be issued with a capacity of 550 kWp. The design of this system was made using a off-grid configuration system using 1667 solar panels with a capacity of 330 Wp, 168 pieces of 1156 Ah battery capacity with a 48 V system, 1 central inverter with a capacity of 630 kW and 92 pieces solar charge controller each has an output of 100 A. The cost for investment is Rp 18.705.798.271, the maintenance cost for operations is Rp 187.616.233 a year and the cost of 2 times the battery change in the 9th and 18th years is Rp. 4.810.273.776.
