      Abstract
This research study the use of songs as a medium of da'wah in Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School. This research conducted in a qualitative approach. The results indicate that in general Darussalam Islamic boarding school uses songs as media in preaching. The songs with da'wah elements often preached are Uyubunas, Biladi, Diwan Syafi'i, Silsilah Nabi, Istighfar, Ayo Mengaji, Istisqa, Allahu Akbar, Hasbunallah, Subhanallah, Country Sun Try and Mars Darussalam. The activities in spreading da'wah both in the community and Islamic Boarding School that are routinely carried out include Farah Faza, Day of Speaking, Dream Band, Art Performance, and Kartini Day. The group of students who often bring da'wah with songs includes santri band, vocal group, al-Wardah, marawis, choirs and Qadisia band. Da'wah activities with songs have an attraction and influence because students are 99% prefer to musical activities. The results show that the songs that were used as da'wah media were following the theory of expressions because songs that were created originated from feelings that were being felt and songs arising from the feelings of the song creators conveyed to those who listened.
