Debates of global ideas and domestic norms have occurred in the world, not least in Indonesia. In this study will focus on discussing the debate between global ideas and local conservatism that occurred in Indonesia in the 2017 blasphemy cases. Furthermore, this research also explained the loss of one of idea as an implication of the battle. The research uses deductive explanation methods and non-quantitative methods by collecting accurate information from various reliable sources such as journals, accurate news, and other reliable sources. From this research we get, first local idea was able to build relations with the system so that it won the majority. Second, global ideas have not managed to maintain their value against the local.
