      Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of adding Ambon banana peel on leaf fertilizer medium and the right concentration on chrysanthemum growth in vitro. The study was conducted in December 2018 to February 2019 in the in vitro Culture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The study was conducted with a single factor experimental method with 8 treatments and each had 3 replications. Each replication consists of 3 samples so that there are 72 units arranged according to a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments that were tried were multiplication of chrysanthemum on leaf fertilizer medium which added coconut water with the addition of Ambon banana peel including banana peel in 50 g/l and 100 g/l; outer banana peel 50 g/l and 100 g/l; combined peel 50 g/l and 100 g/l. The results showed that the addition of Ambon banana peel combined with 50 g/l in leaf and coconut water in leaf fertilizer and coconut water medium could provide the highest growth of plant height in Chrysanthemum which was 4,38 cm and the fastest root growth which was 7,78 days after planting.
