      Abstract
      The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of formula biopesticide an active ingredient Bacillus thuringiensis and extract Lantana camara in controlling Setora nitens on palm oil. Experimental research compiled in Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with single factor experimental design. That are consisting of 4 tretaments that is result of a combination formula (A) Wettable Powder, (B) Emulsifier Concentrate, (C) Dust, and (D) Granule. The researcher observed physical changes during fermentation like a temperature, pH, color, aroma and TDS, identification and population dynamics of Bacillus thuringiensis, making formula biopesticide, and bioassay test on Setora nitens and each applied to 5 caterpillar with three times repetition. The result of the research showed that formula biopesticide Wettable Powder, Emulsifier Concentrate, Dust and Granule with active ingredient Bacillus thuringiensis and Lantana camara can be used a biological agents for controlling the caterpillar. Formula biopesticide Granule has the highest mortality, death rate, and efficacy. The mortality obtained is 86,67 %, 3,86 death rate, and 86,67 % efficacy.
