This study aims to describe how the state and the government of Indonesia preparing PGN toward ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which already entering the phase of full realization since 2015. Type of this research is descriptive analytic, which will describe and analize how Indonesia preparing PGN toward ASEAN Economic Community in 2015. Type of used data on this research is secondary data obtained from books, literature, journals, official reports and the information from internet that related to the discussion of issues. Data collection technique used is Library Research. Methods of data analysis in this this study is Content Analysis. The result of this research shows that the efforts that have been made by Indonesia in supporting and preparing PGN toward ASEAN Economic Community is still considered to be less than maximum. And also it shows why Indonesia still using LPG meanwhile Indonesia is rich of natural gas.This is indicated by the pipeline infrastructure in Indonesia is not ready yet to distribute natural gas troughout the country.The Indonesian goverment national strategy to protect PGN is very important in this global competition, so that PGN will be getting stronger and become leader in energy suply in Indonesia.
