Physician payment in Indonesia still a dominant fee for service system, except in public service boards under Health Minister of Indonesia. This payment system is not appropriate with the package system of Indonesia Case Base Groups (INA-CBGs). The aim of the research is to explore the more appropriate payment system that gives more value to the physician, and other workforces of the hospital, the owners and the patients as the main stakeholders.
