Background: One of Nursing intervention of post-operative patients is reduce the painful from patients. When the painful by medical patient doesn’t be handled immediately can cause complication. Nurse role in painful post-operative lose is including painful inspect, giving independently nursing intervention, collaborate and evaluation of the painful. Objective: The objective of the research is a to know the description of the nursing intervention of post-operative patient with painful by medical patient in RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul Yogyakarta. Method: The research was using descriptive character. The sample of research was using total sampling technique with total respondents amounts 34 persons. The research instrument used three kinds of sheets of observations based on NIC 2013. Data analyzed by frequency distribution. Result: The result is obtained that medical patient post-operative in surgical operation ward RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul Yogyakarta nurse did nursing intervention to exceed the painful good category is 88,2%. Conclusion and Suggestion: The whole result is gotten that medical patient by post-operative in surgical ward RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul Yogyakarta nurse was doing good nursing intervention. For the next research can evolving the questionnaire and do contents experiment
