The purpose of this study is knowing and analyze the Efforts made by the Baznas DIY Party in Increasing Knowledge and Skills of Employees, and How to Influence Employee Understanding of Zakat on Performance. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The technique of collecting data consist of observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity technique in this study uses source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by Baznas DIY in increasing the knowledge and skills of its employees, namely by holding training or training, the effort aims to make employees have a good understanding of zakat so that they can serve the community well. The understanding of employees about zakat affects the performance of employees so that these efforts need to be improved. Based on the results of this study indicate that the training conducted by the Baznas DIY party can improve employees' understanding of zakat, and in general affect employee performance.
