UPAYA PEMERINTAH INDONESIA DALAM MELINDUNGI WARGA NEGARA INDONESIA TERHADAP PENYEBARAN VIRUS MERS DI ARAB SAUDI (2012-2015)
Abstract
MERS Virus was firstly found in Saudi Arabia in 2012 and it was spreading widely in the middle east. MERS Virus is as lethal as SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) that has infected 8.000 world population in 2003, and 774 of them were reported dead.
MERS Virus has been spread to a lot of countries including Jordan, Quwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UEA, Turky, Egypt, Frane, Germany, Netherland, Italy, England, Greece, Austria, USA, Philippines, Malaysia, Lebanon, Iran, Aljazair, China, South Korea, and Thailand.
The impact to those who were infected with MERS virus has been reported dead due to the unsolved formula of the right medicine and drugs to handle this. Every citizen that has been infected however has been treated with special treatment in their countries’ hospitals.
This article is aimed to analyse the effort given by Indonesia’s government in order to protect Indonesian citizens from the spreading of MERS Virus in Saudi Arabia. According to collected data, the effort has been shown from a few decisions reflected from the Embassy of Indonesia in Saudi Arabia to prevent the spreading of MERS Virus towards Indonesians in Arab Saudi.
