      Abstract
      Since the onset of terrorism in the United States in early 2001, radical movements have begun to develop rapidly, and especially in Southeast Asian countries, Brunei Darussalam as a country surrounded by countries that have conflicts with terrorists, making Brunei more vigilant, this is because the aim of the terrorist movement group is to establish a new Muslim state in Southeast Asia, and Brunei is one of their goals, because of that the Brunei Darussalam government has blinded policy in overcoming the problem of terrorism in its country, and therefore conducts content analysis so that it can get a picture from the policy and will prove whether the realism approach used in the law, the method used is quantitative content analysis of Brunei Darussalam's two laws regarding terrorism, and then it will be proven whether that realism is the rationale for the law, and the results of this research are the laws for handling terrorism in Brunei Darussalam using the Realism approach.
