A research of agro-tourism planning in Kaliurang Tourism Area, Pakem District, Sleman Regency was held in February untill April 2019. This reseaarch aims to evaluate the Kaliurang tourist area, determine the potential of agrotourism and develop a plan for developing agro-tourism in the Kaliurang tourism area to add a new tourism and can improve the welfare of the Kaliurang community. This study used a survey method with 93 visitors and sample of 83 people for Kaliurang Barat and 80 people for Kaliurang Timur. The data used from this study are primary data and secondary data which are analyzed descriptively and spatially to determine agro-tourism development plans. The result of this study indicate that the Kaliurang tourist area in Kaliurang Timur Hamlet has the potential to develop agro-tourism, agro-tourism development is carried out by utilizing typical commodities such as Banana Byar, Avocados, Coffe Plants, Crystal Guava and Jackfruit. Agro-tourism planning can be done by compiling a design plan for agro-tourism development and building agro-tourism with criteria for complete facilities such as road access, food stalls, souvenir shop, parking lots, gazebos, parks, prayer rooms, toilets, campsites, outbound areas and potential agro-tourism plants.
