      Abstract
Weak economic conditions make women forced to work as farm laborers to help their husbands to get extra income and to meet their household needs This Study aims to describe the work activities of female farm workers, to know the source of family income, contribution of female workers to family income and factors that influence the outpouring of working time for female farm laborers in Srihardono, Pundong, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The research location was chosen by purposive sampling with 66 respondents conducted by slovin. The results of the study indicate that the work activities carried out by female workers are limited to only planting, weeding and harvesting. The source of family income comes from all family members who have worked, starting from on farm, off farm and non farm activities. The contribution of female farm laborers to family income in Srihardono is 26%. Even though the contribution is moderate, the income of female laborers can help increase family income. The variable age, work experience and income of farm laborers have an influence on the outpouring of working time for female farm laborers but income of family members and number of family members have no influence on the outpouring of working time for female farm laborers
