      Abstract
      Paint cleaning techniques on vehicles now need to be developed to get time efficiency in the process, one of them is the Sandblasting method which is widely used in medium and upper businesses. To remove rust or dirt such as oil, paint, etc. on the surface or to change the character of the surface of the material with a maximum pressure of 8 bar. The purpose of making sandblasting equipment at a cost that is not too expensive is easy in the process of construction and operation. Based on research that has been done, making 80 cm frame height and 40 cm width with 26 liter tube capacity, maximum pressure bar pressure regulator, maximum safety valve pressure 8 bar, pressure gauge pressure 10 bar, maximum pressure hose WP (working pressure) 300 psi, BP (burst precision) 900 psi and straight drill nozzle size 6 mm. The process of operation is easy and maintenance is not too complicated. The spraying stage starts from inserting silica sand in the tube, turning on the compressor, opening the regulator, and waiting until the pressure in the tube is 8 bar, after the process of turning on the sandblasting tool and the next step is preparing the material to be cleaned. The sandblasting tool is successful in removing paint on metal-based workpieces. The process of removing paint is faster and there is no damage to the workpiece.
