      Abstract
Concrete is one of the construction materials used in infrastructure. The development of increasingly advanced and modern infrastructure has many variations of additional materials that can be used in concrete such as plastic additives. One of the plastics used is waste plastic High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), this type of plastic selection is because this plastic has a harder texture and is more resistant to fire. In this study, using coarse aggregates covered with HDPE plastic with variations of 0%, %%, 10%, and 15% by weight of gravel. The aggregate of this mixture is used to reduce plastic waste and make the weight of concrete lighter. Tests of concrete compressive strength were carried out at 7 and 28 days using cylindrical specimens with a diameter of 15 cm × 30 cm and a total of 24 pieces of specimens. Based on the test results, the highest value of aggregate compressive strength was obtained with a variation of 5% of 15.15 MPa at 28 days of concrete age. The strong concrete mix of variations of 5%, 10%, and 15% at 7 days has decreased by 18%, 16%, and 29% and at 28 days has decreased by 30%, 45%, and 53%. For mixed concrete weight variants 5%, 10%, and 15% decreased by 0.05%, 0.96% and 2.23%.
