      Abstract
      Along with the development of technology, for the time being one of the role of learning that has been implemented by several primary schools in Indonesia is to utilize the development of information technologies and communication into the learning activities, where the teacher teaches using a laptop as input and the projector as output. Muhammadiyah Primary School of Sidoarum is the object of an author in doing this research and the learning activities it has also implemented or utilized information technologies and communication. The author uses the operating system based on an open source, namely linux ubuntu 17.10, this software provides facilities for users into various needs of primary school learning activities without need to be installed the applications one by one. It means package all the requirement of applications into flashdisk where the contents of application are embedded in it. For example tuxmath, the educational of game application, etc. For this reason, the author makes a special reference to level 2 mathematics at Muhammadiyah Primary School of Sidoarum, in order to use the MathOS v.1 in supporting learning activities at level math 2 primary school. The result of the trial and distribution of questionnaires that have been conducted at Muhammadiyah Primary School of Sidoarum is the design of the MathOS that is in accordance with the needs in supporting elementary school level 2 mathematic learning activities. Therefore, the MathOS can be developed again if there are some that need to be improved. So it is possible that the MathOS can be upgraded or updated in terms of science.
