      Abstract
      Bhakti Asih Brebes Hospital Building is a building that serves to provide health services to the community. In order to meet the needs in health services, medicine, radiology, and other medical examinations can not be separated from the need for electrical energy. The needs of electrical energy needed among others are lighting installations, electrical contact, air conditioners, fire alarm pumps, water pumps, and elevators. In order to meet the standards of safety, comfort, and calm for residents of the Hospital building and avoid the installation of electrical installations with ineffective over design conditions, the design and installation of electrical installations must be in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) by prioritizing detailed and thorough load requirements. The design of the electrical installation aims to design the needs of mechanical and electrical installations in the Asih Bhakti Hospital building. After the design of the electrical installation, as well as the calculation of the total load power requirements at Bhakti Asih Hospital, the results of the designed calculations show the total apparent power (S) connected by 868.5 kVA and the active power (P) connected to 661.3 kW with a power factor of 0.78. After the simultaneity factor is obtained, the total apparent power of normal load is 533.2 kVA and the total active power of the normal load is 404.4 kW. In an effort to improve the power factor of 0.9 bank capacitors are installed with a capacity of 450kVAR so that the total power after repairs is 449.3 kVA. Based on the calculation of total load calculation after repairing the power factor, the generator capacity to be installed is 1000 kVA and the transformer capacity to be installed is 1000kVA.
