      Abstract
      Water being the daily prime necessity of live to be consumed and take bath. The need of water for shower becomes so darting were almost be drawn upon by the entire human being. The developed of increasing era, people take bath to use warm water that the water normally provided at home, hotel and any other places, however, many of citizens make use to LPG fuel to heat water where LPG fuel is produced from fossil energy that can be exhausted in the certain time so that Solar Water Heater (SWH) is needed with solar energy is absorbed to heat water. nevertheless, water has deficiency that is the high density so that needed Phase Change Material (PCM) which is aimed to reduce the high density of water. In this study, PCM uses paraffin wax. The aim of this research is to find out the rate of the decrease in water temperature, rate of decrease in PCM temperature, rate of water heat releasing, and rate of PCM heat released. This research uses four various debit they are 1; 1,5; 2; and 2,5 LPM. Data collection method of this study used the staged discharging process that is every early five minutes faucet is opened and five minutes further faucet is closed. The date was collected on tank after charging process gained 70 ̊C and end up when water tub temperature reaches 35 ̊C. The data collected taken on discharging process were water temperature in the tank, PCM in tank and water in a shelter. The result of this study is 1 LPM variation that has the lowest descreased temperature which is 8,88 ℃/hour and PCM lowest decreased rate is occurs in I LPM variation that is 8,92 ℃/hour. Meanwhile, the lowest released rate of water calor occurs on 1 LPM that is 444,8 J/s and the lowest released rate of LPM calor occurs on 2 LPM that is 28,97 J/s. The released of PCM rate calor on 2 LPM variation is low caused of the temperature of the discharging data collected is low.
