      Abstract
Teenagers use social media like Instagram to get and share information with people. Therefore, there is a behavior of self disclosure from the privacy space to the public sphere. This study aims to see whether there are any influences and causes of using Instagram Stories on self-disclosure behavior to students. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study uses accidental sampling technique with the consideration that the population varies, character diverse and heterogeneous. The sample used in this study were 30 respondents. The results of a simple linear regression analysis that has been done obtained the equation Y = 11,268 + 1,456X1 which means that if the usage of Instagram Stories variables increases, self-disclosure will also increase, and vice versa. The factors that cause students to do self-disclosure are the dyadic effect, a sense of competing, an open personality, and gender.
