      Abstract
This paper argues that a comparative case study is a valuable research method to investigate how business schools in higher education level use ICT in teaching and learning practices. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has emerged as one of the drivers that have a significant impact on business and business schools. ICT has played a major role as an enabler to provide learning experiences for business students that reflect the changing needs of a business environment. However, the literature shows that the investment in ICT in business education has not been equivalent to the actual use. Business schools are indicated as being oblivious to address the effective use of ICT in teaching and learning. Instead of enhancing teaching and learning process, the integration of ICT has led to several problems. Therefore, investigating the way business schools use ICT in teaching and learning is necessary. While much research has been undertaken under quantitative research design, this paper argues that using a qualitative case study design would be beneficial to provide valuable insights into this field. In addition, since the literature notes the different use of ICT and factors influencing that use amongst business schools in various contexts, this paper proposes a comparative case study as a research method for investigating ICT use in business schools, in a different context in particular.
