      Abstract
The development of social media nowadays is growing rapidly. This has an impact on the phenomenon of lesbian and gay development that continues to grow through social media. However, not all community institutions are able to utilize social media as a means of maximizing accompaniment for lesbian and gay. Therefore, this research is aimed at describing the communication strategy of the Peduli Sahabat Foundation through social media for lesbian and gay accompaniment and the factors that influence the strategy. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the Peduli Sahabat Foundation has implemented a communication strategy through social media optimally with the implementation of a system developed through messages and various uploads of Peduli Sahabat Foundation social media, both Facebook and Instagram.
