      Abstract
      This study aims to reveal parenting st1.'le in educating the spiritual inteiligence of adoiescents (12-15 },ears old) in Wonodadi Village, Buayan Sub-District, Kebumen Regenc-_v, Central Java" and to prove er-npirically the existence of parenting stlle in educating spirituai intelligence. I'he study used quaiitative descriptive analysis. Sarnples used purposive sarnpling, The data rvas collected through interviervs, observation. and documentation. The data rvas anal_vzed b_v data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results shou. that there are parenting stvles in edr"rcating the spiritual intelligence ol adolescents (aged 12-15 -vears) in Woncdadi Village Buayan Sub-District. Kebumen Regencv, Central Java. The results shorv that: ( 1) the parenting style of children in Wonodadi Village are varied There are those rvho use dernocratic parentrnu style, perniissive parenting st.vle. and authoritative parenting stvle. Parents in Wonodadi Vitlage are more dominant usrng democratic parenting st-r.'le rvhich is responding to protrlems and r:vents every day rvrth the discussion" There are also parents rvho use permissive and authoritative parenttng style, but only a t'etv people. (2) Parents rnethods in edr"rcating adolescent spiritual intelligence are various, narnely using methods of habituation, exemplary" thrcrh (taking a lesson) ancl \4au'idoh (gaad advice). Some also use the method of sending their children to Islamic boarding schools. The methods used by parents in Wonodadi Village are dominated b1' habituation and exemplary rnethod. Parents give more examples to their children first, rvhich in the t-uture chrldren u,ill folloll'the directionsirinstructions of their parents and familiarize their children to do good things.
