      Abstract
      Debris Flows are the next impact of volcanis eruption, lava that accurs around the volcano will be carried down through the mountain slopes when high intensity rainfall accurs. Pabelan River is one of the rivers affected by debris flow. Cold damage the surrounding infrastructure, so it can damage the infrastructure in the riparian area and can endanger the environment of the people who live in the river boundary is functioned to maintain protection activities, using the resources contained in the river so that it can run accourding toits purpose. The purpose of this study is to examine the suitability of the Kali Pabelan riparian area with existing regulation. The methods use include the field survey which is supported by the Survey123 for ArcGIS application and if the data is using ArcGIS software. The results showed that the riparian area of the 50 m Pabelan River was dominated by rice fields which had an area of 1,294 Km2 and a percentage of 79%. Infrastructure in Pabelan River watershed is in good condition, but the retaining walls of some river areaa still need repair and some do not have retaining wall. for an estimate of the total population entering the 50 m riparian area of the Pabelan River, there are 3065 inhabitants. From the results of the field survey, 17 river infrastructures along the Pabelan river were obtained, including, 10 bridges, 4 dams, and 3 sabo dams with relatively good conditions.
