In this research, researchers discussed management of television journalism-based news coverage on TVOne Bureau of Yogyakarta and Central Java. This research was carried out in the framework of qualitative descriptive research using a case study method on management of disaster journalism-based news coverage from the process of covering, processing and broadcasting. In the process of collecting data this research uses a method that is in depth interview with journalists involved in the disaster reporting process. Also make direct observations in the reporting process and use both written and visual documents in the research process. The results of this research prove that in the TVOne news coverage process the Yogyakarta and Central Java Bureau used two coverage formats namely Live On Cam and Live On Tape (LOT). The application of news coverage management conducted by TVOne Bureau of Yogyakarta and Central Java has been quite good, this can be seen from the coordination path between the crew in charge from the start of the coverage, processing to the delivery stage. But the planting of the values of disaster journalism on the TVOne Bureau of Yogyakarta and Central Java is still not enough to reach all journalists on duty, the absence of the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for disaster coverage has made the implementation of the value of disaster journalism in every coverage of disaster events less optimal . In this study also found an ideal disaster journalism-based news coverage management model. The contribution of this research is a new insight into journalists working in a news agency bureau about disaster journalism.
