This thesis explains the influence of Fukuda Doctrine in Japanese foreign policy towards ASEAN. The purpose of this study is to study Fukuda Doctrine still in use regarding international politics remains changing. The theoretical framework used in this study is the concept of Flying-Geese proposed by former Japanese Foreign Minister Saburo Okita and the theory of Regionalism. Then this theory is used to explain the influence of Fukuda Doctrine in Japanese foreign policy towards ASEAN. From the results of the study, it can determine the influence of Fukuda Doctrine in Japan's foreign policy towards ASEAN has a very significant influence, because with the Fukuda Doctrine relations between the two countries are increasing and ASEAN is a very important partner for Japan.
