      Abstract
      This study discusses about campaign strategy of Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat “GERMAS” of Banten province public health department to improve a healthy lifestyle in 2017. “GERMAS” campaign is a campaign held by Banten province public health department to improve a healthy lifestyle of Banten’s people in order to develop healthy, smart, and strong generation. The aim of this study is to understand and describe further about the campaign strategy held by Banten province public health department in order to improve a healthy lifestyle. Method used in this study is qualitative descriptive by collecting primary data with in depth interview, observation, and secondary data collected from books, internet, documents, and documented photos. The data validation test is using triangulation by comparing and rechecking the value of evidence of the information collected from different time and tools in qualitative study. The result of this study shows that “GERMAS” campaign strategy held by Banten province public health department according to planning, implementation, and evaluation steps is successfully done and effective. campaign strategy that conducted is socialization and “GERMAS” campaign education, also roadshows in eight districs and cities that broadcasted in local television.
