This research aims to analyze the externality of the development Airports NYIA (New Yogyakarta International Airport) to family in Kulon Progo. The type of the data being used is the primary data in the form of questionnaires, observation and interview to the family in the village of Glagah, Temon, Kulon Progo. The sample used in this study amounted to 91 respondents. Upon analysis of the results obtained has been made that the construction Airports NYIA (New Yogyakarta International Airport) get an impact on aspects of the economic, social and environmental. The results of the estimation of the value of the positive externalities that are accepted by the family of the village of Glagah sourced from direct and indirect revenue resulting from the presence of the construction Airports NYIA (New Yogyakarta International Airport) amounting to Rp1.191.000.000/year. While the negative externalities on the impact of the construction Airports NYIA (New Yogyakarta International Airport) is the decline of the quality of the environment, such as air pollution with estimated values of the negative externalities of Rp 43.200.000/year which is the sum of the Cost of illness and the Cost of Replacement. Thus the positive externalities of the construction Airports NYIA (New Yogyakarta International Airport) greater than the negative externalities.
