      Abstract
      This study examines violations of the Indonesian Pariwara Ethics that occur in the Tribun Jogja Daily Newspaper Class Advertisements for the April 2019 period. The objectives of this study are: To find violations, know the frequency, and quantitatively describe the types of violations of Ethics Pariwara Indonesia in advertisements row on Jogja Jogja Daily Newspaper during April 2019. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with a sample of 30 editions of daily newspapers, which were selected using the random sampling technique. There were 739 advertisements from the whole sample, with a total violation of 2024. In this study, the types of violations of Pariwara Ethics in Indonesia were explained in detail through reliability testing using the Holsti formula to find out the percentage of approval. The results of this study indicate that violations are most often carried out. Job advertisements may not give an indication of discrimination over a particular ethnicity, sex, religion or race, unless specifically including the reasons for the need for a particular ethnicity, gender, religion or race. With a percentage of 38%. Violations committed with use Job advertisements may not overly promise rewards to be obtained with a percentage of 34 %. Violations committed with the advertisement of educational institutions contain promises to obtain certain jobs or income with a percentage of 28%.
