      Abstract
      Scale is an important tool in the process of measuring drugs on the friability tester, because of the weighing process it can be seen the difference in mass between before and after being rotated, if the difference in weight is more than the tolerance limit (1%) then the drug is not fit for circulated, therefore the weighing process is necessary. The existing friability tester is still separate from the scales and calculations are still done manually so that it slows down user's work. Therefore, the author adds the scales to the friability tester and the automatic calculation results displayed on the LCD. This tool is designed using the ATMega328 Integrated Circuit Microcontroller, LCD as a display, and the load cell as a weight sensor on the scales. It uses a 5 volt voltage source from the power supply. The data collection method that is used is the comparison of the measurement values of analytical scales that are made with the calibration weight and the manufacturer's analytical balance tools. In the measurement of the scales with the scales obtained the biggest correction value is 0.047 grams on the weight measurement of 140 grams and 190 grams. In testing the tablets on the scales resulted the difference is not much from the biggest difference of 0.120 grams on rheumachyil drug before it is rotated in the chamber and the smallest difference is 0.010 grams in the paracetamol drug after it is rotated in the chamber. From the results of data collection it can be concluded that the results of drug weight measurements are not much different or even very close.
