      Abstract
      Fires and accidents due to LPG gas stoves are a scary thing for the community. According to BPKN data from 2007 to date victims of gas stove fires continue to increase. Based on these problems, an automatic fire prevention system was created due to forgetting to turn off the stove microcontroller-based. This tool is a stove control system that can provide warnings and control the stove left by the user and forget to turn off so that the stove will automatically shut down by closing the gas flow or can turn on the stove according to the desired time by using timer technology. This tool works by detecting stove and human fire in front of the stove. If the stove fire is on and there are no humans, the stove will start the timer calculation according to the set time. When the timer runs and is detected by a human, the stove is safe and the stove will conclude that the stove is still monitored, but when the timer process is finished and remains undetected by humans, the stove will send a notification SMS to the user's cellphone number and then ring the buzzer. When the second timer is finished, it is still undetectable, the stove will turn off automatically so the stove will be safe and can prevent fire.
