The sector of transportation facilities and infrastructure is one of the arteries in regional economic growth, so that the accuracy in its provision is a very important matter. Public transportation is one component in a city transportation system, and public transportation is a component that plays a very significant role. This means that if the condition of public transport is inadequate it will reduce effectiveness and efficiency in the overall city transportation system. Therefore, in 2008 the Government of the Special Province of Yogyakarta felt the need to improve the general urban transfortasi system by operating the Trans Jogja Bus. Over time, the services provided by Trans Jogja were felt to have declined, some buses did not even meet the feasibility of operating. Therefore, there is a need for periodic public transport performance evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of a public transport service. From the evaluation results in this study the results of the analysis of operational performance during the survey period were in the form of static load factor values of 11.19%, headway an average of 25 minutes, travel time of 1 hour 5 minutes, and an average speed of 24.65 km /hr . Besides that the characteristics of passengers also need to be known in order to find out what factors influence passengers in using public transport services.
