      Abstract
      The purpose of this research is to determine wether or not there is a9 correlation between the learners perceptions on the use of Mainichi kikitori and learning outcomes in the chujokyu choukai course. This research is a correlational study that used quantitative research method. The data of those research were taken from questionnaire and documentation. Where as the data will be processed using a correlational quantitative approach. The research subject of this research are the 2017-2018 academic year second year students in Japanese Language Education Department of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University which amounted to 43 students. This reserch used the product moment formula as a data analysis technique to find out the correlation of the learners perceptions of the use of Mainichi Kikitori with the learning outcomes. The results of questionnair data analysis on perceptions learning outcomes using competency test scores showed the positive results. From the results of the product moment correlation analysis, the researcher get result that show p count = 0,532 > p table = 0,3008 at a significance level of 0,05 or 5%. Based on these results, can be proved the Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected which indicates that there is correlation between the use of Mainichi Kikitori and the results of Chujokyu Choukai learning outcomes.
