      Abstract
      Billboards are a means of media or facilities used for media promotions or news that are usually found on the shoulder of urban roads which are always passed by vehicles, the purpose of which the riders who cross the road can see the contents of the notice on the billboard. Billboards are made with a size that is large enough either horizontally or vertically with the aim that the driver can clearly see the message or content conveyed by the billboard media. Besides the benefits that can convey information, Billboards also have an accident risk level for road users, if installation Billboards are carried out not according to applicable regulations. Road users are people who use roads for traffic to reach their destination. Humans are road users who act as drivers or pedestrians. This study was conducted to find out which billboards are vulnerable and potentially cause accidents for road users. The purpose of this study is to identify the construction of billboards that have the potential to cause disasters for road users on the South RingRoad Road Section which is divided into 5 research points. The type of research that will be used is observational qualitative research, namely research by looking directly at the object of research in the field in accordance with the regulations set by the parties concerned. Obtained percentage value for small billboards of 27% medium size billboards of 35% and large billboards of 24%, while billboards that are not included in the regulations are 14%. Value percentage for billboards with a longitudinal direction of 59% and billboards with transverse direction of 41%. Obtained a percentage value for billboards with a distance of less than 1.5 meters by 53% and billboards with a distance of more than 1.5 meters by 47%. The condition of the billboards that have the potential to cause accidents is not good or poorly maintained as much as 11.7%, while as many as 15.6%, both as much as 59%, very good as much as 13.7%, from the results of this study we can conclude that the billboards are South Ringroad Road Section Fairly Good with Note It is necessary to have regular checks to treat billboards regularly by the manager.
