      Abstract
This study aims to determine the attitudes of farmers and the factors that influence the attitudes of farmers towards the protection of land on agricultural food sustainability (PLP2B) in Bantul Regency. The selection of research sites was done by purposive sampling, namely sampling with the consideration that two districts in Bantul were taken that had the highest and lowest land conversion rates, namely the Banguntapan and Dlingo districts. Determination of respondents in this study was carried out using census techniques with respondents namely all farmer group leaders who participated in the socialization of PLP2B conducted by the Bantul District Government in 2017 with 42 respondents in Banguntapan District and 37 in Dlingo District with a total of 79 people . The results of this study indicate that the attitudes of farmers towards PLP2B policies in Bantul Regency can be categorized both as well as the factors that influence the attitudes of farmers towards PLP2B policies in Bantul Regency such as origin, sex, age, education, farming experience, land area, farmers' income in the sector agriculture and non-agriculture, and rice prices
