      Abstract
      aims to determine the profile of Lovebird breeders in Gamping District, Sleman Regency, to know how to breed Lovebird birds in Gamping District, Sleman Regency and to find out the costs, acceptance and benefits of Lovebird breeders in Gamping District, Sleman Regency, to know how to breed Lovebird birds in Gamping District, Sleman Regency and to determine the costs, revenues and benefits of Lovebird breeders in Gamping District, Sleman Regency . Retrieval of respondents by the Snowball method was 30 farmers. Data was collected by observing and interviewing the respondent directly to be analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the age of Lovebird breeders was productive, namely between 30 - 60 years and the education level of farmers educated from high school to university level. Based on the principal work of livestock farmers, most of the Lovebird breeders as a side business. The total costs incurred by farmers in the Lovebird livestock business for 2 years is Rp. 31,015,725,. Proceeds from Lovebird bird farms are obtained from the sale of Lovebird puppies and broodstock rejects. The total revenue received by farmers is Rp. 64,879,207,. From the results of the study the total profit received for 2 years is Rp. 33,887,082,.
