      Abstract
      Yogyakarta is one of big cities in Indonesia with high related-complex and traffic activities which trigger the crowd. Yogyakarta is going to be build a new medium namely Utility in Malioboro area which is believed would affect to the traffic’s performance during its construction period specifically in Titik Nol KM signalize intersection, to analyze the effect of Malioboro Utility. Based on the problems appear on its intersection, it is necessary to be done an intersection’s performance evaluation so the traffic activity remains fast. The aim of this study is to find out the performance Titik Nol KM intersection at exact condition, the condition of the intersection during the construction as if Jl. Senopati designed closed for vessels and recommendations to handle the appearing problem as an impact of Malioboro Utility construction. The gained results of analysis refers to the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997, at exact condition was gained postponed point at 588,35 det/smp with F service level. At the condition of Jl. Senopati closure was gained average postponed branch performance point at 38,45 det/ smp with D service level. Operation performance analysis in Titik Nol KM intersection was done alternatively in order to improve its performance. The applied alternative was done by combining the phase changing which contained by 4 phases at initial into 2 phases in final done by rearranging the time cycle and gained average of postponed point at 7,25 det/ smp with B service level. Based on the applied alterative, it is inferred the best solution to improve the performance specifically at signalize intersection Tiik Nol KM.
