      Abstract
Friability test is carried out to see the hardness of the drug before it is produced. The purpose of this tool is made to facilitate the user or pharmacy in testing tablets, especially testing the fragility of the drug. Tablets must have sufficient hardness and fragility in accordance with existing requirements, because the smaller the percentage of weight loss from a tablet, the better the therapeutic effect that the drug gives to the body. In this tool uses a chamber speed of 25 RPM, the testing time of the tablet is 4 minutes. The data collection method used is the comparison of the measurement value of the friability tester which is examined with the manufacturer's tool. In the measurement of RPM we get an average value of 25.3 RPM with an error of 1.2% and a difference of 0.3, in a 4 minute timer measurement an average value of 240.8 seconds is obtained with an error of 0.3% and a difference of 0.8. In the measurement of supply voltage, the maximum voltage is obtained with an average of 12.40 volts and 5.00 volts with errors obtained by 4% and 0.2% and the difference of 0.4 and 0.01, while the DC motor voltage gets a maximum voltage of 10.12 Volts with an error of approximately 1% and 0.1 difference. And in testing the tablets on a friability tester that was examined with a comparative friability tester, the results were obtained percentage below 1%, namely 0.1% -0.9% so that the results of tablets that have been tested are suitable for patient consumption
