      Abstract
      The many types of structural systems in the construction world of a multi-storey building result in planners having to choose a structural system that suits their needs. In the Jogja Apartment project a flat slab-drop panel system is used, the plate system is still rarely used compared to the plate-beam system which is often used in every building or house planning. For this reason, this study was conducted to compare the flat slab-drop panel system and the plate-beam system in terms of implementation costs, implementation time, and structural design. The study was conducted by redesigning one plate layout of the Jogja Apartment building by using the flat slab-drop panel system and the plate-beam system using the same method and loading. The method used in designing the two plate systems is a direct design method with SNI 03-2847-2013 as the basis for its calculation. From the results of the study found that the flat slab-drop panel system has a cost of Rp 3.552.429.292 24,52% cheaper than using a plate-beam system of Rp Rp4.706.334.233. For the implementation time the flat slab-drop panel has a faster time of 2 days compared to the plate-beam system. Then from the structural design the flat slab system with drop panels has a higher height of free space compared to the plate-beam system..
