      Abstract
      The environment is a unity of space with all objects, power, conditions and creatures, including humans and their behavior that affect nature itself, the continuity of life and the well-being of humans and living things. In this study, analyzing the meaning of the environment in Navicula's songs uses the study of semiotics as the main analysis with the approach of a semioticist, Roland Barthes, to find meaning or signs that appear in song lyrics. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze related to how the meaning of the environment in Navicula songs. The results of this study describe the meaning of the meaning of the environment on two Navicula songs. Where this research, the object of his research is the lyrics of the song "Mother" and also "When All the Fast Semain Bali Dares to Stop". From the results of deeper analysis, the authors found the meaning used by Navicula in his song which is related to the damage caused by human exploitation of natural resources and also respect for the environment carried out by the Balinese people.
