dc.description | Background: Many factors affect the quality of life in stroke patients, including gender,
age and type of stroke. One method to increase understanding of stroke is to use digital media
based booklets. This media provides simple content that can be understood by the sufferer in the
hope that it will increase understanding of one's illness and ability to improve health status
independently and improve quality of life, that is, feeling fulfilled in fulfilling life.
Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of education with digital-based
booklet media to improve the quality of life of stroke patients in the Bantul Pleret Health Center.
Method: The type of research used is quasi experimental. The approach used in this
study was the design of the pre test and post test nonequivalent control group. The sample of this
study were 48 people consisting of 24 respondents in the control group and 24 respondents in
the intervention group. The analysis used in this research is univariate and bivariate. The
statistical test used was two groups of pairs with a ratio measurement scale before and after the
intervention using the statistical test pired t-test.
Results: The results found there were significant differences between the control group
and the intervention group after being given education using digital-based booklet media with a
sig value of 0.001 (p <0.05).
Conclusion: Need to hold a delivery to special nurses implementing nurses. Material
presented includes the skills of nurses in identifying and assessing the quality of life of patients
comprehensively, the ability of nurses in the early detection of hopelessness, and the ability to
